The Begonia Listrada is a true botanical gem that will bring a touch of exoticism and elegance to your home. Native to Brazil, this tropical plant stands out for its fascinating velvety foliage: its elongated, deep green leaves are crossed by an ultra-bright lime green central vein. And the surprise doesn't end there! When you turn its foliage over, you will discover a magnificent deep red reverse. At MonJungle, we love its graphic look and assertive character, which make it a centerpiece for any collection. 🌸

Our care tips for a thriving Begonia 🌿

Although it looks precious with its velvety texture, the Begonia Listrada remains accessible if you respect its natural needs. Here is how to pamper your new addition:

• ☀️ Light: Place it in a room bathed in indirect light. Absolutely avoid direct sunlight, which could burn its delicate leaves.
• 💧 Watering: Let the surface of the soil dry out (about 2 to 3 cm) between each watering. Pro tip: never wet its foliage to avoid fungal diseases! Favor watering from below or at the base of the plant.
• 🌡️ Temperature and Humidity: It will thrive perfectly in our interiors, with an ideal temperature between 18°C and 24°C. Used to tropical climates, it loves ambient humidity. Do not hesitate to place its pot on a tray filled with damp clay pebbles. ☁️
• 🧑🌾 Difficulty: Moderate. With careful watering, it will reward you with vigorous growth and a beautifully bushy habit!
