💡 How to care for your Epipremnum Tricolour?
☀️ Light: favor moderate to bright indirect light, avoiding intense direct sunlight. Good lighting helps maintain the lovely variegation, especially on the lighter varieties.
💧 Watering: allow the first few centimeters of the substrate to dry out before watering again. Avoid standing water, which can cause root rot.
🌡️ Temperature: ideally between 18 and 27 °C. Protect your plants from cold drafts and temperatures below 15 °C.
🌫️ Humidity: normal ambient humidity is generally sufficient, although a slightly humid atmosphere promotes beautiful growth.
🌱 Substrate: use a light, well-draining mix, composed for example of potting soil for green plants, perlite, and fine bark.
🧑🌾 Difficulty: easy. Epipremnum are hardy and relatively tolerant plants, ideal for starting a tropical collection.
🌿 A tropical collection that grows with you
Originating from horticultural lines derived from tropical Epipremnum, these plants are appreciated for their climbing or trailing growth. Over time, their stems can beautifully cascade from a shelf or climb a moss pole.
Epipremnum are also known for their ability to absorb certain compounds present in the air in laboratory experiments. However, they do not replace good ventilation for improving indoor air quality.
Good to know: the variegation is natural and can vary from one leaf to another. Every plant therefore has its own charm!
⚠️ Epipremnum are toxic if ingested. Keep them out of reach of children and pets.
