Alocasia Tiny Dancer, a new variety on the market. Alocasia plants are admired for their beautiful foliage.
This variety of alocasia is distinguished by its cup-shaped, upward-facing leaves.

According to the International Aroid Society, this plant is awarded as the most unusual aroid. This plant is native to the United States and was first introduced this year it came to Europe.

Alocasia Cuprea "Red Secret" is a super beautiful plant with these magnificent leaves in purple color and with a metallic effect.

Like many plants in this family, these leaves may drop during the hibernation period. There is no specific hibernation season for this plant. But if the plant loses these leaves, it will grow back in the following weeks. You will receive a beautiful, well-established plant (between 4 and 6 leaves).

A well-established alocasia plant is more likely to not go into hibernation straight away.

Cuttings received in packages are sometimes hungry and tired, which is very normal after a trip. Before taking them directly, we take a small glass with it (¼ part of water) and we put the sphagnum moss received and the cutting in it for about 3 or 4 hours (we do not pass the cutting directly in water because the roots are used to substrate and bacteria in the substrate in combination with water can cause rot. If you ever want to hydro the cuttings, you must wash the roots well with lukewarm water (several times).


The choice of pot:

1.Size
We always use the correct size pots.
The risk of root rot is very high when a cutting is in a pot that is too large because the quantity of substrate and water is very important for the roots.
Large pot = Lots of substrate = Lots of water = Too much time to dry and the roots are bathed in water.
So it is important to put the correct pot diameter.

2. Material
We often talk about potting material, we use a terracotta or plastic pot (with a pot cover) etc.
Terracotta pots are generally ideal for plants. They help drain excess water from the entire pot surface and they also help the roots dry out a little quickly before the next watering. I present to you a rarity in jewel orchids, Anoectochilus formosanus hayata.

It is a terrestrial orchid, which means it grows in soil or similar environments. In their natural environment, these orchids can be found growing in forest floors. They are known for their velvet-looking foliage, intense brown leaves with red veins.

The species Ludisia discolor tolerates a temperate to tropical environment. It needs a lot of humidity and warmth. Because of this temperature preference, it can grow in a pot or terrarium.

You will receive at least one nice rod. Sometimes the new stems grow close to the mother stem and in this case I will put the sweet ones!
